IT FEELS GREAT TO HAVE TWO ORIGINAL PRINTS FROM THE EXETER 2020 SERIES FEATURED IN THIS YEAR'S SOCIETY OF WOMEN ARTISTS EXHIBITION. THE EXHIBITION WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SHOW IN LONDON'S MALL GALLERIES THIS YEAR. LONDON WOULD HAVE PROVIDED A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO VIEW AND CONTRAST MY INTERPRETATION OF EXETER'S ARCHITECTURE WITH THAT OF THE SURROUNDING CAPITAL CITY.

SOCIETY OF WOMEN ARTISTS 2021
I am totally thrilled to be in the SOCIETY OF WOMEN ARTISTS 160th EXHIBITION. This is one of my biggest achievements. To be selected again is monumental to me. This selection being amongst big names feels like I am really going somewhere. Print is following my dreams, and I look at the Exeter series and feel happy to have expressed me. I will keep going to make it onto walls with even more inspirational artists one day.

I Hugely enjoyed the opportunity to display my work in Olly Quinns Optitions opticians. For a retail design, the print medium in a digital suite was an edit that I wanted to make suggestions of youth and architecture- how fab it feels to be in cities with old architecture. Stylised in a contemporary fashion to match the stores slick clean look.

I can’t believe I am showing “A RETAILS COMPOSED WAIT”alongside other inspiring artists at the Royal society of painter-printmakers this November. Showing there are artists that make my Instagram inspiring and fuel my own work. This showed last year in the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts @swacart
“Reflections” exhibition, when I intended it to serve a message of Retails’ wait, eager to resume business and thrive once lockdown had lifted in a post-lockdown revival to Exeter’s busy High Street..
The selection is going to be immense and I can’t wait. Big thankyous for this opportunity.

THE FACTORY PROJECT
October 2021 in a 67,000 sqft industrial space The Factory Project promises to be
"One of the highlights of FRIEZE WEEK , LONDON."
"The "Between Frames” brief I have channeled with a focus on travel."
AN INSTALLATION WORK .

A cityscape installation based on the style of my prints. The substance of them I will make into a few 3d elements, and their compositions inspiring the formation of 3D lamps. A city street atmosphere is referenced through lamp posts and street furniture made into abstracted forms.I aim to re imagine a street and relay the charisma a city has when first arriving and making your way around: A sense of navigation and excitement.
Visitors to the exhibition wont be walking through my installation, but will be able to interact, walk around it .
The familiar sense these objects have (street furniture) is an assurance of city living, Their movement from usual formal positions isn't disturbing, I see it as exaggerated navigation and adventure. You are between frames when outside, and the distraction from everything but the door this installation manifests is a post lockdown freedom. Being out of the house contributes a sense of possibilities communicated within this installation, even the most unlikely ones are enchanting to me.

After moving to Leeds, I am experiencing lockdown here working for AMAZON.
Daily scenes in our work at the LBA8 AMAZON Have inspired the AMAZON PRINT SERIES during lockdown.
The images display an affection as well as these peak times in busyness working for AMAZON. The process of mark making in these works imitates the activation that we workers experience at the warehouse when a lorry delivery arrives. Funcationality is described in cubist line and elementary composition. During Lockdown, AMAZON operations respond to an increased demand in orders .We, at amazon, experience these as the reliance on online order delivery during lockdown continues.
The Series is a documentation of my employment, and working lockdown experience.
